MIDLAND — While Novi Detroit Catholic Centrals Michael Dube and Northvilles Connor Johnston were beating each others brains out in a No. 1 singles semifinal, top-seed Tim Wang rested. The Novi junior had his own tough match, winning in three sets against Rochester Adams Justin Hyman, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. But the Johnston-Dube match took so long, he had time to recuperate at the Midland Community Tennis Center. It took nearly 3 hours, 40 minutes for Johnston to oust Dube, 4-6, 7-5, 7-6.
